The HOLE toilets are only in areas That are OLD not just that its old, but becuz the older generation lives there obviously thier more comfortable with them i guess

yeh i h8 those toilets... ewwiez~! lol, i remember i was ten since i last been there... we went to beijing n we visisted these places, n i remeber i had to pay to use THOSE toilets n it was sooo dirty n the hole was so large n i was so small.... omg... then wen i came out the lady sed i didnt pay~! the nerve of her~! n besides the sitting toilets they got over there r also covered in pee, u cant sit on it~!! :roll: aiyah... i h8 it. lol.

8O i think i'll put aside my chips now... when i was abt 7 i remember droppin my sandal into da pipe of dose toilets and my aunt tried fishing it out, and i remember use a hose because u couldn't flush... eewwwwww... don't wanna talk abt it nemore...

o god ...not the hole toilets.Last time i actually fell in one of them. I was about 7 and visiting my relatives in the summer.There i was takin a shower and reachin for the towel when all of a sudden i slipped and fell ass first in the toilet . i even struggled to get back up cause it was so slippery in there... :x

i ran across an article while studying. its from sina.com, one of the few popular chinese websites. the article is something about a guy from the city comming back to the rual area and was sick of the old potty toilets. they sometimes had worms and all that. In China, about 60 percent of the population lives in rural areas. The latrines they use are usually no more than a pit in the ground or a trough running to a storage pit in the corner of courtyards or behind buildings. anyway china is launching an effort to install toilets. and if you read on it talks about using human waste as fertilizer and other stuff. Toilet renovation in rural area benefiting farmers

those things are gross.............i almost like puked twice going into a public one.............i learned if i need to use the restroom in public, go intoo a american fast food place...........like McDonald's of KFC

You're talking about aus here... if ur just talkin about the "hole" toilet, we have some, which is literally just a hole, so they can use ur dump as compost... >.< the squat on sitting toilets chairs -.-" i think family from my dad's side does that (dere from the country)

ohh god i hate those hole in the ground toilets in malaysia and singapore... i always have to find myself a proper one lol
maybe its cuase i grew up in australia and use to the sit down kind...
after awhile your your legs get tried from those hole ones...

ewww those toilet totaly suk!!! i h8 dem sooooooo muchie. wah wen i went 2 vietnam last yr der was soooo many. ive been in sum dats worser den hole toilets b4. in da countryside in vietnam der was no toilet at all. der was just a room 4 u 2 pee in n dat was it. n den u go outside n get water 2 rince it n dats it. ewwwwwww its so so so so horrible. its so dam dirty. yuk!!!!

oh my god!!!! im not the only 1!!! those holes are awful!! i went to china to visit relatives, and they live in this rural village with holes as toilets that couldnt flush and u have to pour water down it!! "wot if their was a blockage ( u know wot i mean?) squating down is sooo not good 4 my knees. even when i went to the main city, thay still had holes in popular shopping centers!!! i was like WOT!! by the time i got to hong kong, it was such it a relief! something to sit on!!!ahhhh

Azn Toilets are just all crap. so dirty and the whole ones are the worst. but me guess in Northern CHinalike Beijing its far betta than in South China as Kanton. IN Kanton such gud restaurants have so dirty toilets, :x
