if you found out your daughter took pictures like that with her boyfriend, then they got posted all over the internet. would you tell your daughter: "oh it's ok,most the girls your age probably do it"?

I guess yeah, I actually meant what you inferred. I don't think that it's wrong, what Gil did...because I think sex is natural? I don't want to assume, but probably most girls by age 25 have done the dirty...lol...but it's just that most other girls aren't public figures so they're not unlucky enough to get their private photos posted up on the net. While it might seem like it's stupid to allow other people to take naked photos of you, if it's a significant other that you really trust, I think that there wouldn't be such a hesitation to do it...if only it weren't for the threat of it being leaked onto the Internet...and that threat only exists because people are cruel enough to post that type of thing on the Internet. I personally think it should be the poster that is blamed, rather than the people who are in the photo, because they are only doing what's "natural" (ok. maybe not on Eddie's part because 1300 is a bit too much and it seems borderline fetish/psycho...)

I just feel that people these days don't respect the privacy of others, hence all this public drama and scandal...of course, being a public figure, you kind of ask for it, but they still deserve their privacy and basic rights. Also, if someone who wasn't famous had photos of herself leaked onto the Internet like this, people wouldn't condemn her as fast or as harshly...or at least I think they wouldn't, but then again, people tend to judge other people far more harshly than they judge themselves. If they were in the same position, they would feel embarrassed and ashamed too, but it's not entirely their fault that their photos have been posted on the net. I think it's a tendency to blame the victim in cases like these. Like someone was saying to me today, people tend to blame the victim in many situations, such as rape, where they say, "Oh it is the girl's fault for wearing such a short skirt." Now people are probably saying, "Oh, it is her fault for allowing him to take photos of her in that position."  But just imagine it was themself in that position...

HAHA okay I am really rambling. Basic point: I think people are being overly judgemental and perhaps just a tad hypocritical because they *probably* (I don't want to generalize and say everyone) have done something like that too. Just because they have done it doesn't mean it's right, but if they have done something like that, then they don't have the right to judge her so harshly.

I've watched the chinese news video clip online of Gillian confessing to the media and apologizing. I first heard about it from my friend but i didn't believe her as i figured someone probably just cut & paste heads onto naked bodies. But apparently my friend told me there were 100+ of naked photos on net. My opinion on this...  I feel so sad for Gillian & Edison. Even tho' what Edison did was EXTREMELY stupiddddd, it must've been such big pressure for him that he had to fly back to Canada (i mean- if u're famous, everywhere u walk, someone will 'always' talk about u behind ur back). Gillian was REALLY brave to admit it to the media as she confessed she was young & naive & stupid back then but that now she's grown up & matured abit.
I think there's still hope for Gillian in regards to her career. As for Edison?... Tricky tricky... erm... all it takes is just time. A 'longgggg' time until the flame dies down. Poor guy. As for Cecilia & Nicholas, Nicholas had said that he supports his wife so... *shrugs* oh well. No opinion on that. That's what married couples should do anyway.

It's pretty screw'd up.  C'mon, I am a guy, and I got to give props for Edison for being a player.  He's just a perve since he got caught, that's all.  What type of guy wouldn't like to have that many girls do anything for him?  i wouldn't say the girls were nice ladys because they did sexual acts, they're just normal people, like you and me, so what if they like foreplay?

In the end, i never really like Edison and still don't.  I really thought Cecilia was sexy before but after seeing the pics, not really...its a jungle there.  And poor Gillian, I guess she can't do anymore school girl parts...I still her.

edison was stupid enough to get his laptop fixed knowing full well the photos are still inside. Either get back ups of those pics or just throw the laptop away and buy a new one. What was so important that he had to get it fixed? I would assume he tried to save his photos but thats just my opinon. Is kira caught yet?

Well he should of not gotten his laptop fix, what an idiot!   he just shot himself on the foot on this one.  And secondly, the women that was effected by this are also idiots, you know that you are a famous figure, what makes you think that these pictures will not leak out, what in your right mind would you let him take your butt naked pics , that is bounds to leak that's is the fact even if you are famous or not famous, rounchy pictures are made to be leaked out.  It is especially worst in the HK ent. industry than it is in U.S.

Important lesson we learned from this: when you are sleeping around with someone, LEAVE the digital Camera out of it! not smart.

I don't think there is much hope for Gillian and Twins either. It was because a month ago, she made a huge media fuss over another incident... while in the dressing room getting ready to go on stage, there were hidden cameras which took pictures of her in her lingerie, which spread over as well. Back then, she garnered a lot of support from the rest of the Hong Kong stars and her fans, in benefit shows/interviews and whatnot (the company responsible for hosting her show either lost a lot of business or shut down due to it). She cried every time the topic came up, and she even went on to say she "is a role model for which kids and young people look up to."
