I wouldn't have one that does.
But if i DID who happened to smoke and I didn't know about it. Ick. >_< To me, smoking isn't only disgusting, but its also a sign of "I like to conform to other peoples ideas of smoking because I have no guts to say no" or "I have no other reasonable way to handle being sad/angry/depressed". -_-

i quit smoking for my baby
that's a stupid reason to quit smoking talking from experience it's pointless to quit smoking for someone. if you're not going to do it for yourself. then you're not going to do it you'll never quit for your parents, your girlfriend, your boyfriend, your family. if you don't want to quit, then you're not going to quit. because you'll always tell them you've quit but you're just going to do it behind their back anyways. i've seen it happen time and time again. the only way i've seen my friends quit is when they want to do it for themself. never for anyone else.

lol true that it's a stupid reason to stop smoking but it's best if you quit it anyways~ i think i'd convince the person to quit for his/her own good~

umm...well, recently a lot of my guy friends started smoking. but i know the reason why they smoke is for the reason of being "cool." they know it's bad for them, so why else would they start? one friend says he smokes cuz it "relieves his stress." i don't buy that AT ALL. there are tonnes of other ways of releasing stress and really, i know in fact that he hardly has enough stress to start smoking to relieve that so called "stress." Lastly, all of my guy friends, with the exception of one, only smokes with his other smoking friends. If there's no one around to see them smoke, they won't do it.

I smoke myself, but mostly when I'm at work. Need to relax myself. But they have a quit smoking policy. Many of my colleagues don't smoke (anymore?) O_o
When I'm back home I don't smoke much as my partner doesn't like me smoking, but I occasionally get a smoke when we're out.

listen to what you're saying you've heard the reason your friends are smoking but you decide to dismiss them as not true and then make your own reason up? from what it seems you're just making a lot of baseless assumptions about your friends

Personally I'd rather just not have that stuff around me. It smells bad and I think it's just a waste of money so no. However, I suppose if it's someone that I really liked somehow then we could try to work something out. That's part of being in a relationship afterall, finding out your differences and making them work.

i think its very replusive man. i think it smells and if a girl does it i doesn't look cool at all. i mean if a guy does it, theres a chance that he'll at least look cool lol. as a poor guy money wise looking for a gf, im not gonna pick one who spends my money by buying cigs.
